[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi Folks , been a while since I have been here on TN , but now that March is here I am look'en forward to getting my camera out into some warmer weather...

looking through my 2010 photos I found this 'fly by' of a Canada Goose , and since this hearty bird will be one of the first to migrate back home regardless of the colder weather I figured it would make an ok upload for the start of 2011.

the Canada Goose is a common bird to appear here on TN so I will skip any wiki posts on it and just say that although common , it is still a favorite of mine. as an abundant early spring arrival, this bird gives me some practice to start off the year, plus their spring time mating antics are really quite humorous :-)

I know this one is pretty mundane :-) , really just stopped in to say Hi
thanks for look'en

Hello Art,
Wonderful inflight image of this beautiful Canada Goose. The exposure is perfect allowing the fine detail to be seen clearly. The coloration is natural and well saturated. I like the tiny catchlight in it's eye. Great job!!

Hi Art,
Its good to see you posting again. Not mundane at all, this is a fine way to start spring. I can't wait until the geese touch down again. This is an excellant bird in flight capture. Well done.

Warm welcome back friend Art! I hope that during that period of absence, you
have managed some exciting shots which we will see in near future. This one is
brilliant, my friend! No destructive background or issues with the depth of field.
Fantastic, precise focus! Great colors and clarity! Bravo!
