This photo was taken at the Capilano Salmon Hatchery in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

I had to wait long time holding the camera until the salmons jumped up. I had good light conditions so it was easy to set the Shutter speed to 1/1600 and keep a low ISO.

A perfectly timed shot showing the Salmon as he fights the swift current to swim up stream. Excellent detail and beautiful natural coloration. Perfect exposure and nicely composed. Great work!!
