A passing thunderhead & late afternoon sunlight create a momentary parfait effect in the sky with blue atop of white atop of ominous. A northern whitetailed deer happened to be grazing afront of the illuminated forest.

Hi Derek,
really nice animal and extraordinary effect in the sky. Incredible, I thought that it was an ice hill!
Nice natural colours.
Excellent composition.
Thanks for sharing,
Maciek

Hi Derek,
What a gorgeous scene. Love the deer up against those trees. The clouds look like mountains in the background. I met three mule deer last night I could have used some nice scenery like this. Well done.
Denis.

Hello Derek

Beautiful photo with the scenery and warmer light,
the contrast between the sky's cold and the
earth's warm color tones, the beautiful glance
of the deer to you, and specially that clouds
formation giving an impression that in the
background there is snowy mountains, TFS
