Northern Waterthrush
This Wood Warbler breeds in wooded swamps and bogs ranging from the Northern USA through Canada and into Alaska. Mainly a ground feeder, wading in shallow water for insects and other arthropods. Look for constant bobbing of tail.
Very similar in appearance to the Louisiana Waterthrush which is less common. Most often distinguished by song, however the Northern Waterthrush usually has more striping on throat, a less defined and thinner white eyestripe and more creamy or yellowish underparts.

Hi Peter,
Beautiful bird, very good clarity and details. You are almost there (the perfect picture)…
If you could move a bit to the left to see the tail and get read af the branch as a background of the head… (I’m just joking).
I made a quick workshop… is just an opinion.
