One thing I've notice about Blue Jays is that they pass you every twenty minutes in a pattern they take when feeding. I'm not sure they're feeding young at this time.

Hi Trevor.
You managed using of light very well. It is too difficult to take a dark objects photo under poor light. But your capture seems very nice. Bravo!

This is a pretty picture of a pretty bird. I like the colors of a Blue Jay's feathers. Good detail of the feathers.
