Based on the shape of head and beak, I am guessing that this is a Red-Tailed Hawk. However, I would be delighted if someone would correct me.
I know that there is a non-natural element in this image, but these fellows seem to prefer the signs and fence posts as resting points |

Quite funny shot. Technically brilliant, but I feel a central composition with more narrow crop might be more powerful. Probably you didn't want to crop the words "Spry Lake". :-) Unique and also funny placing of watermark, I love it!
