Hello friends, from my end
of spring 2008 atchives.

1/125s f/4.9 ISO200

from Hinterland Who's Who website

« The beaver Castor canadensis is the
largest rodent in North America and the
largest rodent in the world except for
the capybara of South America.

An adult weighs from 16 to 32 kg and,
including its 30-cm tail, a large beaver
may measure 1.3 m long. Its ancestors were
even larger. In the Pleistocene ice age—the
era of the mastodons and the mammoths—the giant
beavers that inhabited the expanses of Eurasia
and North America measured just under 3 m in length,
including the tail, and probably weighed 360 kg. »

Merci

Hello Asbed,
Nice shot of a swimming Beaver. The head and upper surface of the body show well in the green reflections of the water and I like the eye contact.
Thanks and best regards,
Ivan

HI Asbed
I didn't know they could grow so big. Judging by the size of the head the one you have captured must be big. Good capture very sharp image and good POV with good composition.
