[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This pine tree was filled with only MALE grosbeak birds. They were so high up I was only able to get the odd invasive shot. Hope you like.
Oh; I should also mention that they were eating the helicopter fruit you see that looks like it's dying. As kids we called them helicopters because when you threw them in the air they would fall and spin like a helicopter.

Evening Grosbeaks devour surprising quantities of raw salt.
These birds have been observed eating 96 sunflower seeds in five minutes.
A group of grosbeaks are collectively known as a "gross" of grosbeaks.
