[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello friends, after photos of the
Great Gray Owl (I still have a lot
on my archives to be published)
return to the small birds in-flight.
This Black-capped Chickadee it is
becoming my photo #1001 on TN !

Olympus Tough TG-1 iHS
1/250s f/5.6 ISO100
12.6mm (35mm eq:70mm)

from Birds of Nova Scotia website

« This bird's common call proclaims
its identity: chik-a-dee-dee. It has
another call, heard more frequently
in spring, a sweet two-toned whistle,
fiee-bee, given slowly and deliberately
on a descending scale. This note should
not be mistaken for that of a Phoebe,
which does not whistle but merely utters
fee-be explosively, with a strong accent
on the first syllable. »

Merci

Asbed

Hello Asbed,
A fine in-flight capture!
I like the POV and the way the light shines through the outspread wings and tail of this Black-capped Chickadee. The blurred bare birch branches give it movement and the colours and clarity are great.
Thanks and best regards,
Ivan

Ciao Asbed, great capture of lovely in-flight bird, wonderful colors, fine details and splendid sharpness, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Very poetic Asbed. Good form and a wonderful composition. I love the light and the soft colours. Nicely framed and the DOF works well here. Trevor

Ciao Asbed.
Sarebbe stata un’eccellente foto se avresti aumentato ISO,ma non tutte le foto riescono perfette,va bene ugualmente.
Ciao Marco.
Grazie della condivisione.

Hi Asbed
You caught everything fanned out with good light. Good tracking with the camera to get that much detail at 1/250, good job
Thanks for sharing
