Hello friends, baby Meadow Vole or baby Field Mouse,
doing searches in the internet I saw that the good
English name here in North America it is : Meadow Vole.

This morning I was taking a walk with my pointing dog
in a bicycle path when I saw this baby Field Mouse,
I did some photos in the bicycle path, 25 to 30 minutes
later when we passed again from there this time I saw this
baby Field Mouse in the vegetation, I was happy because
the photos would be more natural and more beautiful,
that photo I will post it another time.

1/200s f/2.8 ISO100 4.5mm (35mm eq:25mm).

« The meadow vole has the widest distribution of any
North American species of Microtus. It ranges from
Labrador west to Alaska and south from Labrador and
New Brunswick to South Carolina and extreme
northeastern Georgia; east through Tennessee,
Missouri, north-central Nebraska, the northern half
of Wyoming, and central Washington to Alaska;
south through Idaho into north-central Utah.

It is excluded only from the extreme polar regions.
A disjunct subset of its range occurs from central Colorado
to northwestern New Mexico. The United States portion of
the Souris River is alternately known as the Mouse River because
of the large numbers of field mice that lived along its banks. »

Merci.

Ciao Asbed, great capture of cute baby, beautiful ambientation, fine details, wonderful natural colors and splendid sharpness, very well done, my friend, have a good week end, ciao Silvio

Bonjour Asbed,

L'animal est bien placé dans le cadrage. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de la souris des champs. La bonne luminosité rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Pierre

Very good and greta caputre Asbed.

Thanks for sharing.

Hello Asbed,
No doubt a tare species here in TN and this little one gave you a good scope to take a ground level shot. If I was in your place I would like to take the picture without flash and I think that would be more natural(Personal Opinion).
Well sharpness and well POV too.
Thanks for sharing such little mouse,
Regards and have a nice Sunday,
Srikumar

Bonjour Asbed,
Excellente valorisation du sujet, malgré son mimétisme avec son environnement immédiat, dans une très belle lumière et sous une bonne profondeur de champ.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.
Gérard
