Hello friends, today I am uploading my 1300th
image in TN with this photo of the Mourning Dove.

1/3200s f/5.6 ISO1600 85mm (35mm eq:127mm).

« A graceful, slender-tailed, small-headed dove that’s
common across the continent. Mourning Doves perch
on telephone wires and forage for seeds on the ground;
their flight is fast and bullet straight.

Their soft, drawn-out calls sound like laments.
When taking off, their wings make a sharp whistling
or whinnying. Mourning Doves are the most frequently
hunted species in North America. »

Hello Asbed
congratulations on your 1300th post, wow, that's a lot of images. I love the call of the mourning dove as it means summer is here, at least in my area. Nice action shot with good detail and composition.

Hi Asbed,
Another excellent flying photo. Amazing colours with sharpness details
of this beautiful dove. Congratulations on your 1300th post in T.N.
Regards Jiri.

Hello Asbed,
Congratulation for your 1300th post....Very sharp and with perfect focus as usual despite that this lovely bird is in flight...You have great skills to catch in flight a lot of species. Congratulations for your activity here on TN. You post a lot of interesting and nice images about mammals and birds from your country.

Hello Asbed,
Congratulation for your 1300th photograph, here in TN. But still long way to go....
Quite well captured this 'Mourning Dove', against your typical BG. Well focus with good details. I like the way bird is looking st inside the frame too. It would be more attractive if you could framed it in vertical way. BG trees as well as the bird are in vertical shape, so I think it would looked better. In vertical frame, you could easily achieved the ROT composition. But we won't cherish the beauty of such natural habitat.
Thanks for sharing with useful NOTE,
Best wishes,

Hello Asbed, Congratulations on your 1300th post here on TN.
What a neat inflight shot of this beautiful Mourning Dove. Reminds me somewhat of one Howard Cheek captured many years ago which won him first place in a photo contest. Amazing how you isolated the dove from the forest trees obtaining such fine sharpness. I really like the way the tail is all fanned out displaying the pretty white tip feathers. Attractive POV and just the right amount of exposure.

Ciao Asbed, great capture of fantastic inflight dove, perfect focus, fine details, excellent sharpness and wonderful natural colors, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio
