[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the Canadian Rockies in Banff National Park, Canada during summer.

I took this photo from Sulphur Mountain. The Mount Aylmer in the Pallister Range and the Lake Minnewanka are seen in this photo. Banff national Park is the oldest national park in Canada. Canadian Rockies have been more heavily glaciated, resulting in sharply pointed mountains separated by wide, U-shaped valleys gauged by glaciers.

The Sulphur Mountain gave a beautiful landscape view of the Rockies. The weather was good .Being summer there was not much of snow.

Hello Bala,
What an eye-catching photo from Banff national Park. I have never been to this place myself, but a friend of mine raves about how beautiful it is. You have captured the jagged mountain peaks wonderfully showing much detail and lovely colors. Snuggled deep within the mountain valleys the lake looks so peaceful with a bright blue color. I hope to visit this place someday, but for now I will have to enjoy your photo.

Hello Bala,
A nice photo of a well known place where I was last September. It's a bit dark, but that gives a special atmosphere here. A pity for the dirty spot.
Regards,
Peter

Hello Bala,
Beautiful mountain view. Quite well captured. I like its POV as well as the way you have placed the lake; perfect to me. Picture could be dark; but not underexposed. But you have mentioned that weather was good and I could see big shadows on the lap of mountain. It means you got enough light. Here main part is mountain so in my test it looks better if you give more space in the foreground and cropped a bit the sky out. There is a black spot just next to the main peak.
With due respect, I've done a WS where I've tried to enhance the light as well as details if I could achieved.
Thanks for sharing,
Best regards and have a nice WE,
Srikumar
P,S - Thanks for your comment on my last post. I think next time you will find them :-)

I would have preferred a much bigger view of this beautiful Rockies panorama, but then the size here on TN sucks, Bala.
The light is magical here, creating those wonderful contrasts.
The view is somewhat reminiscent of Ladakh in our own country.
