[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This looks like the landscape is on fire, but it is actually just the sunrise. This is exactly the way it came out of the camera, no filters, no enhancement, no manipulation of any kind except resize, sharpen and a touch of Neat Image only on the dark hills and fog to get rid of noise.

The sky was blanketed by a layer of high fog (as it usually is in winter in this valley where I live), but the sun peeked through between the mountain and the fog layer and colored the sky like fire. The light show lasted about 15 minutes, then for the rest of the day we had dismal gloom while the rest of the world enjoyed sunshine. But those few moments of glory were enough to lighten the mood. :o)

Looks like something magical is happening up there!
Gorgeous colours and the trees look good silhouetted against the sky. Good capture, with the mist nestling behind it all. Well seen. All the best, Vicky

Wow, it certainly DOES look like it's on fire. You must have used a realy long lens. That would be nice to add to the note (for those of us trying to steal your approach).

Fantastic! I have some sunsets and sunrises posted to Trekearth and I am not tired to see it, and shot it and post it more and more. The sun is the same, but the thousend situations and colours are amazing. Here you captured it at its best. Dramatic. Congratulations!

This photo looks like a fire storm alright. Great coulors. I love the shot.

Beautiful landscape, or should I say "skyscape".

Details rendition is sky is splendid. Sharpness is good as well as exposure. Compostion is balanced and gives more attention to the color of the sky, but still reveal some information about the surounding territory.
