1/1000 secondes et plus à F/8 en plein soleil devrait donner de bon résultats, Daniel.
Ton colibri à gorge-rubis mâle est bien joli. Personnellement, j'aurais rogner le haut de l'image pour en donner plus à droite, mais c'est toi l'artiste.

Salut again, Daniel. I don't know how I missed that one. Oh I do know why. I did not join TN until March 2005, and this photo was submitted in November 2004. So you've been a member on TN way before me. (You did not need a welcome from me. Haha...)
Anyway this hummingbird shot is fantastic. I do know how difficult it is to get a decent one with those fast moving little birds. Practically impossible. This capture shows very sharp details and wonderful colors and irridescent highlights on its plumage. Congratulations and TFS. : )

Hello Daniel,

I prefer this version of your hummingbird shots, although both are wonderful.

My reason, this one (IMHO) has more detail, especially in the eye and head area, also, I enjoy the darker background for this bird.

Great capture, composition and it is simply lovely.

Hello Daniel,
I know, it´s difficult take good hummingbirds photos, but this is amaizing, has excellent details on feathers, good colours and nice bird.
maybe the background is not optime for hummingbird´s colors, but is a favorite of mine.
