Milk River, Alberta

|THE MILK RIVER, ALBERTA CANADA|
The Milk River flows up from Montana into southeastern Alberta. The river got it's name from the colour the river turns during the spring run off.
The Sweetgrass Hills in the background are in Montana. That gives you some idea how far south the river is in Alberta.
I took this shot during one of our canoe trips. We went for a nice walk after dinner and this is what we saw.

Beautiful landscape ! Colors and composition are great. A pity that the photo is so small, it would be even better in larger size. Well done !
What a beautiful scenery. Such a wide open space. The composition is very good with the river flowing nicely into the photo. Do you know that you can upload photo up to 800x800? It's best to make them as large as possible for better viewing.
Great photo! Nice POV and beautyful landscape.
