[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Spring is coming in full force in the southern Okanagan.
The sun had just risen here in the town of Osoyoos, which is just north of the Canada/ U.S. border, and was lighting this birch tree with it's young leaves. I found the contrast between the lit foreground and the still dark background worthy of a photo or two.
Lake Osoyoos is in the background.

Hello Tim,
It is very effective the way you capture the lighting on the birch as seen against the background in the darkness..!
A lovely image of spring!

Again, I think from slightly further away and landscape and this woudl have had more impact.
But the light is excellent, and the colours wonderful.

Also you need to start sharpening your pictures, it is a part of the resizing process that they loose some sharpness... Also I thhink I woudl have increased the contrast in this one a touch...
