Downy Woodpecker

Downy Woodpecker Is a small black peak and white which carries a broad white stripe in the medium of the back. Its nozzle is shorter than the head but very robust, the adult male carries a small red band to the back of the tête.This is our smaller peak. It attends the mixed forests but one also meets it in places varying wild desrégions with the urban parks, the courses of farm, the trees ornamental and with the vergers.Il its food in the trees, the bushes seeks, and in winter in the fields and the herbaceous plants with a clear preference for the shrubs and the leafy trees. It is the peak which one generally meets because he likes the areas inhabited contrary to the other peaks. One can attract it in his garden enlui presenting tallow and black sunflower in the mangers. Its food is composed to 75 % of harmful insects. It is the small-scale model of the hairy peak and to differentiate it there are only the size and the length of the nozzle. Its female carries the same colours too much that but is not to him also coquète and arborre not of red, seeing when it must brood its small. Its song is almost similar to that of the hairy peak but the blows which it strikes in the trees are less powerful.

My favourite bird! Lovely detail and colour and the downy texture is there too. Nice detail, and nicely defocused BG, although I find the bright blue area a little distracting. Great shot of this beautiful bird.

Belle image, l'exposition et la lumière sont très bonnes. Le focus est assez bien et les coleurs sont bien saturées. À mon goût l'oiseau est un peu centré, mais il n'est pas dit nul part qu'on ne peut pas mettre son sujet au centre une fois de temps en temps. Donc pas nécessairement un défaut.
