I see you opted for a change, as they say a change is as good as a rest, not that we needed one from your amazing owls, but yet again you treat us to a master class in image making. this elk is beautiful, the shadow on the snow adds emphersis to its pose as it bugles. simpley a great capture.

What a beautiful shot of this beautiful animal. Nice sharp details, pretty colours, useful note. I like how the snow is flying around his feet.

Outre la très bonne prise de vue, sur le vif, l'ombre portée sur la neige est magnifique, car elle entre tout entière dans le cadre. Très bel effet aussi, que la neige estompant les sabots. Maintenant que la photo est faite, René, il faudrait le rendre au Père Noël!. On dirait qu'il semble vouloir vous le demander. Très belle photo! Amicalement.

Remarque très à propos de Jean-Michel:¨le rendre au Père Noël ;) Mais, j'y pense le Père Noël avait terminé son travail le 30 décembre!
Bon angle de capture pour ce Wapiti, René. Tu semble être sur une colline ou dans un véhicule ou encore les bras en l'air avec ta caméra hautement perchée mais je suis probablement dans les patates dans les trois cas.
Un très beau tableau, bien composé.
