[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is near the Estuary of Holland Creek in Ladysmith, Canada.
I like the composition, with the ducks moving rightward, the chaotic plants in the foreground, the manufactured structure standing boldy in the lower third with wisps of fog drifting from the left, and the easy feeling of the hills and cloud behind it all. Of course, the empty sky gives the cluttered waterscape more emphasis. The hill breaks up the strong horizontal theme without overpowering the subjects.
I converted the image to greyscale because I was more in love with the shapes and forms than with the colours, which were quite drab.

Hi, John. Beautiful image with lovely atmosphere and composition. Greyscale fits the image well. Good job. Regards, Roy.

Donna :o)

A howdy to ya John from the Eastcoast.

You did well to go B&W. I like the layered compo.
And of course the fog adds that veiled quality.
Wouldn't be sea smoke? Looks too warm for that.

Tfs, Jay
