Poor fellow, what a mouth. Was he squawking at you Luc? What ex PP work, so much better than the original. I like how you reversed it so the good eye is to the front. Good job!

Very good catch and very good crop, I like this composition a lot, you caught it right on time with the right angle.

Striking image that could do with being just a bit sharper on the eye, perhaps the softness is from where you have cropped down so much? If this was full frame and sharp it would be excellent...though you would probably be missing some fingers.

Luc, Great visual impact.. I see this one & I imagine this Bald Eagle is at the Otolaryngologist's office getting his throat checked out! Say ahhhh! So you're into veterinary medicine now?? :-)) You've succeeded in showing a "unique" POV very well in this super-extreme POV. I can truly say that I've never seen an eagles tonque & throat in such detail! Well done!!

Amazing shot, Luc. Your skill with the camera and post processing is exceptional. I usually shy away from commenting on this kind of subject because who can say what is good or not when it comes to "faces" or species. However, in this case I am truly impressed with the outcome! It is sharp, detailed, has wonderful color, and passion. Not too many have gotten this POV, I am betting. You truly inspire me to do better whenever I see your postings, and it helps that we both have the same camera, so I can see what can be achieved. (I think now I will see about purchasing the lense.) Thank you .

Bizarre cette langue à la pointe bleue, que de détails qu'on ne peut observer dans un plan plus large. Le regard agressif est encore prédominant malgré ce bec tout grand ouvert.
Bravo!

My friend
You deserve the best mug shot on TN for this one, it is superbe, I can nearly smell the meaty breath all the way from the north. I love this in your face pictures, well done.

Luc, I am not in the mood to critic this one. I only feel like staring at it with my mouth as open as the fellow in the shot. Excellent crop, beautiful work. Thanks.

Luc, I just told Serge the other day that any closer I would have seen his tonsils. You went the extra distance and what can I see....
His tonsils! :) This capture realy has impact. I think this eagle shouted at you to take the lens out of its face. :) I might have shifted the frame a bit upwards (less below, more on top) but it still has a very dramatic impact when looking at this.
Very well done, my friend.
Wow, this is something special !
Seen a lot of birds of prey and also close-up, but never the "entrance" !
Great, Luc !

Luc, amazing photo. What a perspective. Definitely a "in-your-face" kind of moment with one of the most impressive specimens of nature. And you managed to capture it! That calls for not only high photographic skills, but a lot of courage, no?
