It was about this time last year...
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|...when I took this shot of the Fraser river near where I live. I was still pretty new to the whole DSLR thing, which I can also tell my looking at my EXIF info.|
It was originally the clouds to the right which were lighting up with the sunset glow that caught my eye.
Waiting for the right moment though, I also got this flock of gulls flying along.
This scene was originally quite underexposed, so I had to work it pretty good to get it to this point.

dramatic view with a beautiful sky. That's the great thing when working with raw images, that some things are possible which were quite impossible with the 'conventional' analog camaras.
Great composition, Jacob

Wow, I really like landscapes, and you my friend are good at it.
Again a very nice composition, beautiful colours and nice details. I really like the glow in the background. Excellent!
Nice colours in the clouds and sky. Sharp details and nice POV. Like what is in the FG as it gives dimension to the picture. DOF is clear and perfect. Still a little underexposed but it creates a nice evening mood. TFS.

Great looking sunset/landscape capture. I tto like the clouds on the right, thanks for sharing.
It still looks a little dark, but I feel that it might even help the photo. Now the colored sky is even more a focal point. I really do like the composition with the gulls in the sky and the very interesting FG. Great PP work.
