Imagine 20 acres of our property transformed by ice in such a fluid state for several days. Imagine the noises coming from the hundreds of trees as they tried to work free of their mantle. We were lucky enough to more than imagine it!

Beautiful natural artwork, Linda,
I love the forms and the colours, realy wonderful, thanks and greetings

Your pic is terrific. Beautiful interesting and unic.
Few points at the moment. I'm afraid that when the pic is reduced to the size of a thumbnail, it is not appealing anymore, and that is why people don't click it open. They miss a marvel.

Hi Linda,
again this freeing rain gave us such wonderful photo opertunities and you used them so well. Lovely how nature has all those surprises in store for us, one only needs to look closer and so you did. You did an excellent job capturing all those fine details embeded in ice.

Hello Linda

This is amazing,it looks so artistic. The image is very beautiful.I like the little blue patches of sky in there.Excellent details and well done on the exposure.Ice storms can be very devastating,I know I lived through a big one in 1998,but you have turned lemons into lemonade.A beautiful shot.TFS

Hello Linda,
This must have been very impressive to see and to hear this ice concerto! This is a beautiful macro. It is amazing how ice can be nice but so cruel for the vegetation. I like this light, exposure, composition and details. Those natural colors are beautiful too. Well done and thanks,
Claudine

ahhhh I see you did have some ice too..some storm it was, glad its all melted now for sure. beautiful shot. love the sun relections on the ice. TFS
Donna :o)

thanks for your comments on my photo "ice storm" :o)

Wow thats a nice shot ive seen that effect on creeks and trees must have had some wet snow then froze

Absolutely glorious: Nature as a glassblower! Instead of hot glass it uses ice!
Well at least this way the weeds don't get scorched eh!

Well seen, captured and presented. I like the compo! Tfs, Jay

I remember those ice storms in Pennsylvania, you wake up to woodlands that have been transformed overnight into a crystal showcase. Unfortunate that such beauty can do so much damage.

Beautiful clarity and composition, lovely POV. TFS
