Hello Pedro,
your clear and well detailed capture of a hairstreak is a fine demonstration of "false head" markings apparently working well. The butterfly seems to have escaped a predator's attack that was successfully directed against the end of its tailed hind wings instead of its real head. Now the butterfly is still enjoying its life with tails off, and it also allows us to see a glimpse of its bright blue upper side of wings at resting position. Thank you!
