Arcoiris
A rainbow happens when the rain drops and the sunbeams are crossed. The light of the sun is made up of all the colors, those which blended they produce illumination. When the light of the sun penetrates the drops of water, it is reflected in the interior surfaces. While it passes through the drops, the light separates in its colors that they compose it, what produces a very similar effect to that of a prism. And for an instant, each rain drop flashes its colors to the observer, before another rain drop takes its place.

Usually, a rainbow one can observe in the opposed address of the sun. The light of the rainbow is reflected to the eye, to an angle of 42 grades in connection with the sunbeam. The arch form, is part of the cone of light that is cut by the horizon. If you travel toward the end of a rainbow, this will move ahead of you, maintaining their form.

The brilliant primary rainbow has the red color in the external and blue border inside itself. In the superior part of the atmosphere, there is always another less brilliant rainbow, with the colors in inverse order. This secondary rainbow, is the result of additional reflection, of the sunbeams through the rain drops. It is more visible when there are dark clouds behind of this.

A nice and rare shot, it's just a bit noisy but doesn't disturb.

This is a beauty, A double as well. Very rare indeed. The colors and composition is very good.

Very well done and thanks for posting

Wonderful colours in this rainbow Ninfa - I have never seen anything like it and you even capture both of them. Apart from some noise I really like this on. Would be great on a wall.

I dared to make a WS trying to remove the noise - hope it is OK.

Hola Ninfa,

Espero que estes bien.

Me gusta mucho tu arco iris, talvez si lo pasas por Neat image te queda mas nitida, sin embargo, capturar un arco iris completo y lograr esos colores tan vividos es justificacion suficiente para darte los 2 puntos.

Saludes,
Iris

Very nice shot Ninfa. Its difficult to shot this moment. Congratullations.

This is a very nice capture of the twins. Like the colors and compo. It's plain & simple yet very striking at the same time. Lovely shot!

Superb capture of such a colourful peice of nature. Unusual and interesting to see.

Muy buena foto e interesante, aunque le falta un poco de nitidez.
Me gusta la combinacion de colores y el cielo tan azul.
Gracias por compartir.
