This storm was heading toward our home the afternoon of April 2nd. The clouds were so beautiful and it was hard to decide which one to post. Interesting how the weather can change from 80 degrees and sunny to a major thunderstorm. It did miss us though and took the same path as the tornado that hit less than 1/8 of a mile from our home on March 12, 2006. That tornado did in excess of $425 million dollars in damage in our county. We are definitely blessed.

Hi Kim,

You're back! I'm glad the tornadoes missed you. There is good exposure on these clouds. No burnout. Be sure to straighten your images before posting. The tree and power pole should be vertical/ parallel to the side of the image.

Evelynn : )

Nice shot! I think the clouds and the sky look huge, especially with the black tree on the right hand side putting it all in perspective. I agree with Evelynn about straightening the image. Also, making the picture black and white might make some more details on the clouds visible.

Hi Kim,
Great cloud formation. and an excellent job on the exposure in the clouds. That cloud doesn't show much good to come.
I wanted to mention the same as Evelynn about the rotation, but after your feedback to her, I see that nature did it's job on the tree and power pole. I like the WS from pepe and am gald he didn't make it into a B/W photo.
