I thought this morning's shoot wasn't going to work out because of the strong breezes, but it was actually my best macro day ever. Not that I have much macro experience, but still, you never how things are going to work out.

This guy appears to making a bagged lunch consisting of two Japanese Beetles. I guess there's no accounting for taste.

This is an excellent picture of this Argiope ! There are amazing details on the picture - on the spider as well as on the 2 dead bugs. Nice natural colors, perfect composition, beautiful POV, and excellent DOF with blurred BG. I also like the parts of the web that we can see. Very well done !
