|This white-tail deer quietly resting in the summer shade let me approach and take this image.|
The background grass was overexposed and distracted from the subtility of the shaded subject. I wanted to keep the image of the deer appearing in the shade as I actually saw it.
I created a layer in PS4 of the background to match the exposure with the foreground grass. Only very minor adjustments were made on the subject itself.

A great shot of this typical 10 point White-tail buck still in velvet. Excellent exposure and beautiful natural colors. I see he is starting to lose some of his orangish summer coat on his rump and replacing it with the winter grey he will need for camouflaged purposes. Great work!!
