[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Yellow Garden Spider to me looks quite menacing due to the black mask like design it wears. As a young boy I made sure I kept my distance whenever I encountered these guys in the field.

Garden Spiders weave an orb web characterized by a zigzagging stabilimentum. They are very active in the summer months and produce a tough brown papery egg sack which is kettle-shaped.

This specimen is a female which is much larger then it's mate. Spiders are not particularly loved by most individuals, but I have to admit this one is fairly attractive with it's unique looking mask design.

Ciao Ron, great macro of fantastic spider, fine details, wonderful colors and splendid sharpness, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Hello Ron,

Nothing to say about this Spider. Excellent "Everything".....Just BG.....although I did see you used 35mm. 105/90mm would give you total soft blurry greenish + whitish mixed BG where diagonal stick would disappear. I like such BG...personally.
Regards and thanks for showing this beautiful spider,
Srikumar
