[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was able to get within twenty yards of this Great Egret as it perched in a nearby tree. I was convinced it had lost one of its legs and was reluctant to fly.

A few moments after I took this shot I was surprised its leg reappeared once it decided to take flight. I will post in a WS the last photo I took of it before it flew off.

Hello Ron,
excellent...regards,

Hello Ron,
Beautiful picture of this Egret. Well exposure. In India I noticed so many one legged Common Myna. In India women hair and thin sharp rope are the cause of their being handicapped. But here don't know exactly!
Like your comment on my last post :-)
Thanks for sharing,
Sri

Hi Ron,
I know an old Hungarian joke with the same "one-legged" stork. :-) Very good observation, anyway. Nice and sharp photo with good color contrast, pleasant to look at. Good WS as well. Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards from Ireland, László

I guess Egrets have this habit of standing on one leg and hiding the other, Ron! :)
A wonderful frontal capture with perfect white balance.
Thanks and regards.

Hi Ron,a great shot of this great egret, very well exposed for the best white and very sharp, and the WS is a masterwork too with the best detail on the wings despite the fast mouvement, well done! Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Hi Ron,

The tight frame is putting the bird in evidence. The point of view is showing the details of the Great Egret. The good luminosity is enhancing the beauty of the colours. Have a nice day.

Pierre
