Taken in captivity, The Audobon Society....This owl is a species of which I couldn't ID.(Any help would be great.) So instead of info on this beautiful bird, I'll give some info on the Audobon Society.

John James Audobon (1785-1851)is best known for "Birds of America" 435 life size prints. Although he has no direct connection to the society that bears his name, The Audobon Society is an active sound board for environmental issues and conservation. It also is an invaluable source of education for the public.

I think it could be a Northern Pygmy...or Saw Whet owl, but saw whets have black beaks as far as I have seen..It would be fairly small. It's a very good capture.
