[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This hermit thrush is one of a pair that nested in the woods behind my home last year. They usually stay in secluded, woodsy areas where they forage on the ground and are well camouflaged. I would be aware of their presence by hearing them moving in the leaves. This bird being out in the open like this was to draw me away from its mate and or nest. |

Hello Debbie,
A neat shot of this handsome Hermit Thrush. I will be seeing these attractive thrushes in a few weeks when I head up to Magee Marsh for the annual spring migration. Great to see this particular bird out in the open like this. Sharply focused and displaying beautiful natural colors.
Ron
Hello Debbie,
Nice to see this different type of Thrush. I like your composition through two OOF leaves. Even in such difficult, unfriendly condition, you have captured it quite well if we look at its color and details. Unfortunately, its tail touched the frame and it's not looking good. You may post 800×? size photograph here.
Thanks for showing us your work with valuable short NOTE,
Regards,
Srikumar
