I spotted this Bullfrog sitting in the shallows of a small pond while on vacation at Chautauqua Lake in New York. It was midday and quite hot out, but the frog didn't seem to mind at all.

Bullfrogs are the largest frogs found in North America and are quite common on almost any body of water you visit. They feed on a large variety of creatures including crayfish, mice, insects, and other frogs. They have also been found with small birds, ducklings, snakes, turtles and even an occasional bat in their stomachs.

Your shot is stunningly crystal clear on the crouching frog!!
Very nice color and you got the right moment, because the moment it moves, the water will be murky.

Excellent photograph of this bull frog with wonderful eye contact. Unbeatable exposure and with a bonus track of the reflection of the face of the frog in the water of the pond. Beautiful photo, the exposure was totally perfect, such as sharpness. Composition's simple yet effective, and the colors are natural, well saturated. An absolute eye catcher, especially with such great double eye contact (reflection). A masterpiece, congratulations!

Ron, this is the most beautiful picture of a Frog I have ever seen.
It is almost three dimensional.
Perfectly natural color tones with incredible details.
The brown BG of shallow water is just perfect highlight the subject.
