|Lots of these in my yard... :) Loving my new Canon t2i. This was taken with the kit lens... EF-S 18-55 IS... one of the best $100 lens (in the kit) out there. |
Still waiting on my new computer system and the ability to use Photoshop CS5... patience grasshopper... :)
Children of God... will you not bear witness, that, through all your trials and troubles, the faithfulness of your Savior's love has been the “very joy of your hearts?” You have had many crosses and losses – has He ever deserted you? You have been in severe afflictions, and have seen the flowers of many a “sweet hope” wither and decay – did your Friend desert you then? Others may have proved faithless – all other help may have failed you – friendship’s help, promised help, expected help – all, all may have been but as the foam upon the billow, as the footsteps in the sand – but, has Christ ever failed you? Could you, in the darkest and the saddest hour of your grief, say to Him? “Lord, You have promised what You did not perform.” Will you not bear witness concerning the past? – “Not one good thing has failed, of all that the Lord has promised – all has come to pass.”

Well grasshopper, you will love CS5, however the best part of a picture is still the way you see things and put them in 2D, as in this one you succeeded well, very good focus on this violet
Ciao Larry, lovely composition with beautiful flowers, excellent sharpness, splendid light and wonderful natural colors, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

I love this image, beautifully colored flower and interesting background, fine composition. tfs.
This is really, really beautiful! Not only for the shape of the flower, but also for the variation of different shades of purple as well as the fine detail of the veins on the petals. A very special image to me. We are so privileged to share the different types of flowers from all over the world with one another. Thanks for sharing this lovely "sweet hope" from Harrisburg. Best regards.

Your Canon seems to be working out just fine, as evident by this beautiful violet image. Love the off center composition and excellent detail you managed to capture. Looks so real on my screen I can almost smell it's sweet fragrance. Great work!!
