[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This anemone grows under a dead maple tree in my yard. This particular patch of anemone is actually doing better since the tree dried. Perhaps not competing with the tree for water.

Late afternoon sun illuminated the flower and separated it from the darker background.

Camera - Canon Rebel 2ti with 15-85 kit lense.

Some little PP work in Photoshop CS2.

Hello Larry,
You can't get any better detail and exposure then this. The white petals are shown exceptionally well. Beautiful natural coloration and an attractive composition. Stunning image!!
