|I took this picture of this goose at a lake I came across to while I was in Bella Vista Arkansas. It was kind of funny when I went to take his picture he turned his head and tucked his bill into the middle of his back and closed his eyes. On this third shot he opened his eyes to see if I was still photographing him. When I was done he finally got up and walked away.|

A wonderful goose..You know I have from time to time seen these as they come from Canada for a respite during the summer months. I have never seen one in flight..but many times they come to familiar grounds to rest away from the snows...very nice colours and position for the portrait!
I didn't realize how far south the Snow Goose flew. He looks very warm the way he has his beak tucked unto his wing. Very cozy looking. Well done.

this is a highly unusual portrait of a (Snow?) goose. You did a very nice composition. The blue-red eye! All the shiny white feathers with all detail. Well done, Tom!
Nice job with the difficult exposure. You maintained great color and detail in the bright white plumage. I like your choice of framing and composition. Nice work here.
Great capture of the white color.
Love the pose...sweet! :)
