[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Pilea are valued chiefly for their foliage. This unusual-looking native of Mexico and Brazil has 3"-4" green leaves that are veined with craters of bronze. Mounding habit.

Nice in pots or landscape, Pilea are useful in providing some interesting foliage patterns and colors in the vivarium. They like the growing conditions that are available in tropical forest, high humidity and fairly high water requirements.
