Dinner time for the spider!
What a great 'face' the spider has on his back - yes, like an African Mask. Good focus David. It is very sharp and clear

This is pretty good. Interesting composition and good lighting. A little more depth of field would have been desirable, but you can't always have everything. Nice job. Gary

Excellent macro shot of this Orb Weaving spider which is novely for me with very impressive sharpness and clarity. Excellent POV and composition. Thanks for sharing this fine image.

An excellent composition, the dark background helps define the spider, nice and sharp.
I took a look through my spider field guide, and couldn't come up with an exact ID, but I think it may be in the Neoscona genus, can't say for sure though. Many spiders can be really hard (impossible, more accurately) to ID to the species level, at least for us amateurs.
Great shot - If you hadn't told me it was munchin' on a "walking stick", I might've guessed a stick without legs anyway ;}
Very good color & flashwork, love the black BG.
Looks like a "Tropical Orb Weaver" (Eriophora ravilla) to me. They are common here where I live. Or a close relative..
