Although a very common butterfly in my garden, they seem never to stay in one place long enough for a shot. This time I was lucky.

Hello Jim,

Usually it is difficult to render well the light colored wings. You did it very well showing in sharp details texture and pattern. This has been possible due to the good use of light and well chosen DOF.

Thank you for sharing,

A great looking macro Jim,
You've managed to capture such fine detail and the colors are very natural. Just the right exposure to bring out the beauty in this pretty little butterfly. TFS.
