[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The photo of the Wood Stork (Mycteria americana) was taken on a fishing pier on the Indian river. This is listed as endangered because of sensitivity to local water levels when nesting. It was waiting for a handout from a local fishing man who was cleaning their fish.

This is a very good shot. The whites are hard to manage and parts look a little over exposed, but the composition and subject are both great. :-)
