[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This little wasp was trimmed in gold, shiny enough to be gold leaf. I think this is Eremnophila aureontata. There weren't many examples on the internet like this, but I found some Here.

It is described as a digger wasp which captures and paralyzes prey. It buries them underground where it lays its eggs on them.

This one was really actively foraging.

Hope you enjoy.
Reid

Hi Reid

I 5 point scale:

sharpness and DOF: 2

I keep going back to look at this. I think I may have seen one. Not sure. Will have to check my archives. It is in this regard as a bit more unusual than the norm which makes it a fine capture.

Hello Reid,
Very interesting wasp you've captured here. I love its pose and the composition is great. Fine natural colours and a beautiful soft background but it could be sharper.
TFS and regards, Ulla

bonjour reid
c'est malheureusement un peu flou,je pense que vous auriez pu monter en sensibilité et peut etre même utiliser le flash pour avoir une vitesse plus elevée et ainsi avoir moins de risque de bouger.

Hi Mr. Reid,
A beautiful but dangerous looking Wasp. A above all this is a solitary wasp. Likes to live alone. You have captured it very well with nice details and POV. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Sincerely
