Leaves on Rock
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This will be the first of many shots from my recent day hike that I will post.|
I hikes 11 miles with my hiking pack on my back to try to get in shape. I filled my pack with 40lbs of weights and set off into Grambrill State Park, on the Catoctin Mountain Trail, which runs from Gambrill to Catoctin State Park (about 25 miles north).
I took about five pictures of this little setup and I liked this one the best. Somehow, the lighting on this one got dulled out -- on the others, the sun is way too bright. Those leaves are from a Violent flower, but that beautiful flower didn't make it into the picture. Maybe next time. :)

Beautiful photo with a nice composition of leafs and wet stone. The coloring is very nice and interesting. I like the rusty look of the rock. Excellent use on the light because it kept it from over exposure on the water.
