[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (Papilio glaucus Linnaeus)
This is a male here, females having large blue spots on the tail. In additon to loving our butterfly bush, the butterflies are also attracted to our cosmo flowers (Cosmos sulphureus). Note the yellow daylilies in the rear.

Note also that there is an ant on the left side of the image located on the flower stem just in front of the daylily.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look.

Hallo Paul
Thanks for sharing this great macro. This photo is jam packed with awesome detail and features. It is actually difficult to describe all the beautiful features I see here. The arrangement and perfect match of colours of all the objects are great. A beautifully presented image with sharp details. I enjoyed the sight, en fancy the ant on the left hand of the frame. Its antennas (or what can it be?) is a delight to look at. Best regards.
