|Yesterday I stopped by the community garden here in Morganton. I was in a bit of a hurry as I was on my way to work. The sun was shinning and the sky was clear. The butterflies and moths were enjoying the weather also, presenting me with some nice photo opportunities. I'm off today and the weather is perfect. My battery is charged and I'm out of here. Enjoy the day.|

Since this is a side view and you used the same aperture setting as your previous photo, I would expect to see a more sharper image. I notice some noise in the BG which wasn't there in your other shot and the focus is just a tad soft.
I'm wondering if you didn't crop a little too tight on this photo. I'm guessing without the tight crop this would be a super shot. It shows the Skipper in a wonderful pose sipping nectar and the colors are well saturated.

Hi Paul. A good side view of this Skipper. Taken at eye level we can see all of the detail in the wings. You have captured the picture with rich bright colours. well taken TFS.
