I was hoping to take a photo of my new foxglove plant with yellow flowers when I noticed this moth. The yellow on the wings closely matched the yellow flowers.

Hello Paul,
A super image of not only the butterfly, but also the Foxglove. The butterfly I'm pretty sure is a Common Checkered Skipper (Pyrgus communis). Check out this site


The detail is excellent and the colors true and natural. Your choice of an f/5.0 aperture gave you very good DOF and the exposure is right on the money. Well done.
