Hello Ron,
I like this wonderful colorful species of birds. Nice composition with great contrast against the background behind. The colors, details and focus are perfect as usual.
Useful photographer note. In my region they are many birds like this guy here called Eurasian Nuthatch. Thanks for sharing this beauty!

Hello Ron,
The light from the right certainly highlights this little guy. Looks like a really late evening (sun setting) shot. You must be within 10 yards for such details with the 400mm. Nice job. The bicolored beak is interesting as it continues the coloration of the head.

Hello Ron
a splendid one here. The agile little cute bird is so well presented with details and sharpness. The shiny eye is so pleasant and its surrounding is a framing element to focus the view.
Excellent work.

Hi Ron
Wow, great capture of this little Red-breasted Nuthatch. I love the lighting, colours, details and especially your close up view. It's great he was still for a moment since they can move around so quickly.

Hello Ron, dear friend,
Hope you are well, happy new year to you what if belatedly friend.
I owe you many comments, Ron and one more thing I cannot match yours, you write such wonderful and heartfelt comments, candid and sincere. The way your comments from the heart, in the same way your photos also show the candour of your humble heart and your immense love for mother nature. And God has gifted you with photography, rare gift.
This is an amazing shot of this tiny Nuthatch. Top quality shot.Even in flash light, the shot has gained a lot but has lost nothing. The plumage has been beautifully captured and the reflection in the eye which has given you this wonderful eye contact.
Thanks a lot for sharing and I do hope all family members are well.....take care...warm regards/Abid

Hi Ron.
Super sharp photo. It seems that there was little light. What ISO did you use? What lens?
Here we have a similar species : Sitta europaea
Thanks. Robert
