[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I spend a good bit of time at Lake Wateree because growing up, I hadn't much opportunity to observe all these exotic birds. And there are SO many of them. I just find it fascinating to watch them. Fly, land, fish... For birds with such a possibility of looking awkward, they sure are graceful creatures in flight.

Hello Shelly. I'm glad to see that you are more active here. You are well equipped for this harder to please sister of TE. Your zoom has macro capability and superior than mine with the precision D70s. This shot proved it well with stunning capture of bird in flight. I like the color of the water in shiny ripples and the exposure is well managed for birds against the background of the trees. Pleasant diagonal light and very well done.
