Female Green Anole

Order: Squamata
Family: Iguanidae
Genus/species: Anolis carolinensis

Males are anywhere from 5in-8in, some females are under 5 in.
Some people call them the American chameleon because they do change colors. Found in the Southeastern United States from Texas to southern Virginia.
Like green environments, sunlight and moisture.
She was found in a closet and resides with a friend of mine. Green Anoles can live up to 7 years in captivity.
She is allowed to roam free on a regular basis, until feeding time in the terrarium. Enjoy!
