Hilton Head Sunset
 |

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I captured this sunset image on the sound side of Hilton Head Island. I really like the mossy tree limbs hanging over the shore...it was very beautiful and peaceful sitting under that tree that evening. The beach and woods were absolutely crawling with crabs, which I had never seen before. It was very cool. I could actually hear the crabs crawling all around as I was shooting the sunset...eerie.
I used a tripod for this shot, and I chose an aperture of f/16 so I could keep the moss and the background sharp and make a bit of a star pattern with the sun. |

Stephen,
A beautiful sunset, love the sharpness and the gorgeous colours. Your exposure is perfect for this type of shot. Great framing by using the moss covered trees. TFS.

Yeah I noticed the star pattern you'd made with the sun mate, very clever. I like the angle of this shot, almost makes you feel like you're going down with the sun if you know what I mean. Great photo.
