Again thanks to Kevin(undoredo) for the ID and correction of another one of my failed attempts at researching the correct species. I don't really like the quality of this photo but I posted it because I thought, in error, that it was a rare specimen. One point of interest is the way the front legs are folded behind his head.

I like this one. You show all of the wings spread wide. Fine details and intriguing colors... on a nice natural perch. Your work is growing still in depth. Very nice Jim.

le BG est bien flou et coloré,dommage que vous n'ayez pas tenté de donner plus de netteté a la libellule.

Hello Jim,
Another species of dragonfly to feast our eyes on! The characteristics of this carolina Saddlebags show up well and the colors highlight it against the neutral OOF natural BG. nice composition too.
Have you thought of illustrating a dragonfly book for Texas?

Hello Jim,

As you say, the focus is perhaps not your best, but the overall quality is very good! The detail of the wings and the lovely colours just jump out at you! It shows up perfectly against the blurred b/g.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Jim,
I can see that you have beautiful collection of dragonflies and butterflies. They are my favorites.

This one is perfect perch and you have captured this in superb details. Well managed depth to isolate the subject against the blurry yet contrasting background.

I like it and very well done.
