[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Yesterday I posted a shot of this heron in flight. This one is shortly after it landed. I think I only have gazillion more shots of it...but there must be a rule about boring everyone with them, so I suppose I may have to find something else to post tomorrow. ;-) This gorgeous creature just stole my heart!

Hello Penny
Beautiful composition with detailed capture of Blue Heron. I like it and have a wonderful weekend.

Hello Penny,

Your birds are all flawless. this one is very sharp in natural surroundings. Lovely details and immaculate plumage. well done and regards,

Hi Penny

I do agree with you, they are intresting birds, and i like to watch them for hours and hours. anyway, the composition and control of light is perfect. I sent a workshop, which i hope it doesn't bother you. And try to make the bird out of flat BG.

Hello Penny
Cripes...this is pretty awesome..I love the scene with his wings open and stepping forward giving a real sense of movement..the focus is maybe a little soft on his head..I have had this problem and what I tend to try now is half press the shutter to lock exposure and then manually focus..it gets a bit busy but I find it helps sometimes.
brilliant shot penny and a nice workshop from babak as well.
A proper good sunday to you

Hi Penny

These are so like our grey herons. I love the pose you have caught here. Wonderfully sharp and well composed. I often bore people with hundreds of shots of deer and water voles. I'm sure everyone would love lots of heron shots

This is an Incredible shot of the Blue Heron! I love it! It's got nice clarity and POV. The coloring is great. I really think that the brush in the background adds to the photo a lot! Great shot!

Incrediable feathers, kinda match the tall grasses. A beautiful bird!
